Nashville Mobile Market

Nashville Mobile Market is in quite high demand for appearances in the next couple weeks, so we really need your help! Below are four events at which NMM's presence has been requested. My hope is that you'll have at least one of these events you could show for. I'm not going to set up shifts quite yet, since I know y'all sometimes only have an hour here or there to contribute. Please send me the times you'd be able to rep NMM ASAP. These events are right around the corner!

All events just asked that we set up a booth, so all you'd have to do would be to show up, pass out brochures, and oodle and ahhh about NMM.

CFA's Food Day, October 24, from 5-8 at Nashville Farmers' Market (booth set-up from 4-4:45)
A celebration of local food system heroes, and an invitation for the public to enjoy tasty creations from Nashville eateries and collectively rising to the challenge to end hunger / create a healthy, just and sustainable food system. YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER HERE -- free, delicious food!

Edgehill Health Fair, October 24, from 11-1 at Gernert Homes
A health fair for the Edgehill community. Edgehill was NMM's pilot community -- it'll be neat to interact with the community partners and customers who got us going!

Lake Providence Health Expo, October 29, from 10-3 at Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church (5891 Nolensville Road)
An effort to perform outreach focusing on the health concerns of individuals and empowering them to make informed health care decisions to improve their overall health and wellness. If you want to see who's on the cutting-edge of healthcare for under-resourced areas, there will be some big names at this event.

Edgehill Halloween Party, October 29, from 6-9
A family fun event that with fall festivities for kids and parents. You can probably wear costumes to coax people to our booth.

E-mail me, Abby Hannifan (lauren.a.hannifan@vanderbilt.edu), back quick quick quick! Thanks a lot!
